Sony Europe boss Jim Ryan has told Metro that Driveclub's PlayStation Plus Edition is "still being looked at."
Asked by the interviewer whether the PS Plus Edition will ever see the light of day, Ryan replied “I can’t say anything at this stage.”
Ryan’s comments are interesting when compared to the recent ones from Evolution, which suggested that the PS Plus Edition is coming, but not completely off the table.
Driveclub developer Evolution Studios recently commented that "We're getting there, but there's still a lot of server development needed to support the PS+ Edition."
Sony has admitted that Driveclub's launch was "embarrassing", but Ryan added "We’ve learnt an awful lot from the Driveclub experience, that those mistakes, once made, should not be repeated."
